In October 2012, Foundations: Black History Education Programming creator Raven Cook was a junior at the University of Arkansas when approached  by the Rising Leaders  Fellowship to create a program that address an educational inequity.  Having a passion for Black History, Cook decided to create the program Inspire 365 to empower others to not only study Black History, but to use history to empower themselves and be a vehicle for change.
