Foundations: Black History Educational Programming
Founder Bio:  Raven Cook 
“You can’t know where you are going until you know where you have been.” has been the guiding phrase for the life and work of Miss Raven Cook.  Originally from Little Rock, Arkansas, Miss Cook has dedicated her life to ensuring that ALL people learn and grow from the discipline of African American History. Using educational lessons, visual arts, music, and number of other resources, Miss Cook has sought not only to educate but to empower all people to recognize their power and their potential to create change. 
Miss Cook works as an museum educator at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated, is the Founder of Foundations: Black History Educational Programming, and has served on numerous local and state boards to promote African American culture and identity.  While Miss Cook is passionate about her service to others, she is most passionate about being a great daughter and older sister.  Miss Cook credits all of her success to the grace of God and the foundation which her ancestors laid for her to achieve all of her dreams.
